Principal Jack Tosone was introduced to golf at Rhode Island Country Club, where he grew up walking the Donald Ross fairways as a caddie for 11 years. His love of the game and service led to a successful hospitality and golf career with over 40 years of senior-managerial experience. A true student of the game, he has a passion for the traditions and culture that golf promotes and knows how to shape this to achieve a shared vision. Jack’s high golf IQ gives him an innate ability to forge the necessary foundation for a club to maximize its potential, as proven in the results he has achieved at each of the clubs he has managed.  Now an industry consultant, Jack’s lifetime of practical, hands-on experience is available to clubs seeking to achieve their potential.

A graduate of Bryant University, Jack played on their nationally ranked golf team and went on to caddie for teammate Jim Hallet on the amateur and PGA Tours. This included Augusta National Golf Club and the 1983 Masters, where Jack earned international acclaim as the first outside caddie to ever loop at ANGC.

As a General Manager, Jack has been at the helm of daily fee, resort, and private clubs for over 25 years. Prior to becoming a General Manager, Jack was a Golf Professional while simultaneously coaching men’s and women’s college golf. Before turning his expertise to the club industry, Jack spent over a decade as a manager with luxury city and resort hotels.

Jack has been a PGA of America member since 1996 and is now a proud Life Member. He has been recognized by the PGA as a Certified General Manager and has been honored with the PGA of America President’s Council award. 

Jack is a member of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) and has been affiliated with the New England Chapter since 2015. An active and lifelong skier, Jack is a Certified Level II PSIA Ski Instructor, where he was a staff trainer/instructor at Bromley Mountain, VT for 11 years.
